    Question Why do Superhero's wear tights?

    Maybe zippers and buttons on pants take too long to change in and out of or they feel pretty? lol

    Well if you're Superman and changing in telephone booth's I guess then you just take off your clothes and you have something on underneath.

    If your Spiderman you wouldn't want loose clothing getting caught on some skyscraper.

    Perhaps the tights give some warmth rather then bare legs and allows some of the female super heros to get away with not shaving their legs this week. As the hero's age, coloured tights could also hide some varicose veins and perhaps they also have control top to hold in their belly's. It also looks better then wearing white socks with your sandals!!!

    Perhaps a penny pinching superhero save more wearing tights then nylons as nylons run and you are always replacing them!!!

    I was thinking of aerodynamics (or sleakness)...kind of like how swimmers shave their body hair.

    I think it's because being super heroes and all they don't have the extra time it takes to shave their entire bodies Who wants to see a hairy hero?
