3/18 Have you ever..........
I thought I would start a new thread each day called
Have you ever (fill in the blank)?
I'm pretty scatterbrained lately,
so if I forget, someone else jump right on in! 
Today is Thursday March 18, 2005
Have you ever riden in a helicopter ?
If yes: Did you enjoy it, why and would you do it again?

Mama to 27 furbaby 'Katz' (as my hubby calls them LOL)
Nicky, Snowy, Olga, Ralphie, Sidney, Oliver, Fonz, Audra, Hoss, Peanut, Madeline, Tigger, Alice, Poppy,Teddy Bear, Mittens, Conan, Sherman, Trapper, Radar, Maxie, Annie, Rocky, Kali (AKA P.I.T.A), Jethro, Chewy Lewy, and Chance!
Don't forget to do self examinations monthly and have regular mammograms!

Have you ever riden in a helicopter ? No
If yes: Did you enjoy it, why and would you do it again?
If no: Do you have that on your list of things you would like to do? This is one thing I plan on never doing! I am terrified of heights and pass out once I get about 10 feet off the ground!

I have never riden in a helicopter and it isn't in the plan to do so. I'm afraid of heights too, but that isn't the reason...I get motion sickness.

If yes: Did you enjoy it, why and would you do it again? It was fun. It was a Magnum PI helicopter at some amusement/type thing. Would I do it again, oh, probably.....would I pay the $50 bucks to do it again........probably not.
It wasn't that great. I was mostly nervous & you can't hear a blasted thing.

No, I haven't ever ridden in a helicopter. I have wanted too, but just never got the chance. DH rode in the medivac helicopter (they had a training on it at the fire station one day and they gave al the firefighters a ride) and said that taking off and turning are not fun for him. I know I would be nervous because I am afraid of heights too, but I think it would also be fun.

Yes, I have, and it was exciting once we were in the air and actually flying, but the take off and landing were quite scary for me.
Would I do it again? NO, I'm older and wiser now. LOL

No, I never have, but I would love to. I used to fly in a little Cessna with my daddy, when I was a child. I decided then, that I would love to get my pilot's license and fly both airplanes and helicopters. So far, I've never done it, though.

I rode in one once- many years ago, I had to fly an infant from our tiny outlying hospital- to Cardinal Glennon in St. Louis. . . . . in a thunderstorm.
It was a terriying experience. . . not sure the baby would live, fighting massive wind and rain. . . . I'm not afraid of flying- but that scared the stuffing out of me!
I wouldn't fly back with the pilot--- made them pay for a taxi to take me nearly 70 miles.
I have NO desire to exerience that again.
