Default Found A New Store To shop At, But......

It's in Downtown Chicago! It's Trader Joes, and I fell in love with the store! Foods and spirits and natural health care products from around the globe. The tour Bus I took to Chicago for the Flower And Garden show, gave us an option of being dropped of at The Flower Show right away, or staying on the Bus for a special trip to Trader Joes for an hour. Mom and I decided to go to Trader Joes and shop for an hour, then go to the flower show. If anyone else here has been to this wonderful store, you know what I am talking about Our wonderful tour guides even had 6 coolers packed with ice, to accomadate our frozen/refridge items.

The store employees are very friendly and helpful and they even have a kitchen area that will open any product you wish to sample. Also a free coffee/juice bar.

Luckily, there is another Joes in Ann Arbor, and I will drive there on occasion to shop at this terriffic store

I may have to make a drive to Ann Arbor. It's not too far from me. It sounds great.

I've never been to one but have heard about Trader Joe's before. Glad you had a good time there Lynn. Get a t-shirt?

We have them locally. I love them too. Ours have farmer's market stalls outside in the summer too.

I don't even feel like I'm shopping at Trader Joe,s. It is not only fun they have a lot of stuff that really helps me get dinner on the table in a hurry. Try their rasberry jelly, it is $3.99 a jar but sooooo good. I just put it on crackers and it's dessert cau

Oh Lisa, I only had an hour to spend there and I did not even see any T-Shirts, but am sure they had them. When I go next month, I will have to look for one when there's more time.

Tanya, the farmers market is a great idea and I bet people flock to it during those summer months?

Sara, I promise you will not be disappointed, if you decide to make that trip

Cau, sounds like a winner to me I sampled the apricot jam while I was there, and it was awesome!

I just got done eating some of the Extra fine green beans, imported from France, and they were awesome! Also the Bruschetta on olive oil toasted baugette bread with a small layer of cream cheese.....oh was it good And the garlic Hummus is to die for!

    Default Trader Joe's rocks!!!!!!

TJ's has been our little secret her in SoCal for years, and they have lots more stores all over now. They are great for all sorts of obscure culinary treats, cheeses, natural products, etc. Their beer and wine section is fabulous. And the chocolate is without equal, specifically their TJ's brand 3-pack of dark chocolate bars that is only about .99 here last I saw. Getcher red hot antioxidants here, folks, step right up!!!!

We've got one about half an hour away from me, and I've been there a few times. Definitely a store to check out if you've never been there before!
