Default What's going on in your neck of the woods today?

I'm about to do lunch and may run some errands and return a couple of things that I don't like. I think I'll run by the thrift store as well.... Don't have a clue what I'll have for supper but Gripey's having steak. He thawed out 2 extras on Sunday so he's for sure having that tonite.

I could stay home and clean my office.....but I don't wanna.

Have a nice time out and about, Lisa. It's good friday here and I'll be working at our store until 5pm, it will be 5.20pm after I bag the money and finalise everything on the computer. Then I'll go to our step son and dil's for dinner - fish BBQ. DH and DS will be there already. Then home to bed.

Not much here today. I need a nap after getting up at 6 and then driving almost 3 hours back to my house from my moms...lol

I need to run to the store for diapers and formula. It works out great as I got a babies r us gc while I was home and we got an $11 dollar check/coupon for the formula we use in the mail today(which is $11 and some change at the store) so at least I won't have to spend a lot of money today.

Lets see, i got to stand in line at the bank to only have the teller refuse to cash a check for me (for heavens sake it is my bank and the check was for 20.00) so instead i get a PITA teller because of the type of account i have with them they wouldn't cash it, i was a crying mess by the time i left. (Just when things cant' possibly go right for me, something else goes wrong).

went to a dollar store, got some misc things, spent 4.00.

came home have dh's cake in the oven. the kids want to make cookies, so i have printed off a recipe.

    dishes are in the machine

kids are dancing on my last nerves left.

ummm...that's it i think. Gotta cook dinner later, pizza and pasta salad.

I need to help Dh clean out his truck. We are trading it in for another one. He really does need another one. I agreed with him on that. I have 4 more payments on my car so it should be ok.

I also need to make a grocery trip.

Not much going on here either. I have the day off from work and have been enjoying the leisure and laziness. I took a walk around our yard and garden even though it is only about 45 degrees and dreary -- garden not doing much at all. We've been planning a day trip for tomorrow to Woolaroc a western history museum in Bartlesville, OK -- about 2 hours away.

Missy, sounds like Thursday was a bad day for you -- I hope the weekend is better!
