    Thumbs up Had my 6 week check

    Well, I had my 6 week check up the tother day and so far so good, I was given a clean bill of health. I don't have to go back until July and then I have to have a yucky old pap smear

    He said that I seem to be healing normally. My swelling in my hands and my legs has for the most part completely gone (the right leg seems to be a little swolled still, but not near as bad as it was the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy thru the week afterwards. My BP was normal and my weight was down to within 5lbs of the first appointment I had when I found out I was pregnant.

    I still can't believe that it's been 6 weeks since I had her.....where did the time go.

    Also, I had taken Paige with me because Joe was working and while we were in there he asked if I had gotten a shirt from him yet for Paige. I said no so he brought me one. It's pink with two teddy bears on it and it say's:

    My First Hug Came From Dr. Withrow

    Of course when she out grows it that too will go in her baby scrap book. He and his nurse sent me a card after I got home and that is already in there...

    Aaaww glad that you're doing so well Kat. I'm jealous of how much weight you've already lost. I was never that lucky. Keep on feeling great, both you and Paige.

    WOW, has it been 6 weeks already??? I'm so glad you are feeling good and loosing the baby weight. How nice of your doc! Paige will treasure that.

    Just to clarify....I meant the pounds not the cookies. Most of those were gone before my mom got out of the driveway to go back home
