    Default Please everybody wish us luck/prayers- we have to evacuate **UPDATE AT END**

    We have just been ordered to evacuate because of likely flooding. IT is 4:30 AM and the fire dept was pounding on our door.We have one hour to leave. Darlene- are you okay???

    Kimberley, hope you & your home are safe. Just heard they put in the hover craft somewhere and that means someone needs rescueing Fire Dept was here a bit ago. The water is just up past the banks, hoping it doesn't go higher. Going to send a couple pics to Sara, could you resize them for me?
    Right now it's lapping at Jacks wood he just cut and my garden. No threat to our home yet and don't think it will go that high, at least I'm hoping. Hope I don't lose my garden & fence. We have the pump going in the basement. It's nice living here but times like this are so scary. Sorry my post is all scattered, just feeling nuts.
    Wish all my neighbors my best getting through this. Just heard, they rescued someone.

    Arlene.
    Water still rising & surrounding Jacks wood pile. He had to work so hard getting all that wood(hauling uphill etc.) I hate to see him lose it. We are throwing back the wood to the top of the pile when it starts floating away. He's got the canoe out there now. Also the waters into my garden. Do you remember that pic of my hammock? Well that would be underwater if it were out there.
    Think it will crest by 11. Got my fingers crossed. ugh

    We weren't evacuated and Jack monitors the stream guage readings. Are you with family or at the school?
