Well, I'm sorry she has MS, but I have a close friend with MS who would never imagine doing this. She DOES ask for money, but only in the form of sponsorship for the annual MS walk, and all of the money goes to the MS society for research and the like.

Also, this was way overpriced anyway, and what does having all that money have to do with her kids having good memries of their parents? Unless she was going to use the money for some extraoridinary new cure, I can't see how it would make her any better.

I shouldn't be judgemental, but she is really exploiting her illness. I would feel more sympathetic if she wasn't BUYING so much on eBay. DVDs, diet pills, etc. None of my business and I should shut up, but she is getting gov't aid (she says so in another post) and is buying this junk and still asking people to basically give her money. She needs to learn money managment!

What does this mean? "I am 200% serious.This not a joke or scam to make money, or anything like that. You will be helping out a family and also I have another agenda that I can't say for now."

I have a friend with MS and she works as much as she can (about 25 hours a week). She doesn't give herself a pity party or try to scam people. Wow--some people have HUGE nerves!

Yup- my friend still works full-time from here wheelchair as a special ed. teacher. She just got married to one of DH's college friends last year, and they are making the changes they need to to live their lives as best they can, not asking for everybody to support them.

I have a close friend with MS too. She is able to work and take care of herself without any help. She does have flare ups that put her in the hospital for a few days, but she is a fighter and never gives up. She is able to walk and doesn't require the use of a wheelchair once she is out.

I think this woman is pulling a scam.
