Prayers for one of my students, please
One of my first graders was burned on Sunday. The family was burning trash outside and a paint can was thrown in
. It exploded and caught Colby's clothes on fire. He has second and third degree burns on his hands, arms, chest, neck and face. He's in the burn unit at Grady Hospital in Atlanta. I talked to him yesterday on the phone because his visitors are limited to family only. He says he looks like a monster (bless his heart!). Not sure about skin graphs yet. Right now he's enduring having his wounds scrubbed three times a day.
Please pray that he will heal quickly and for relief from the pain. He may not be back at school this year!Nothing can taste as good as being thin will feel.

Oh no! I'm praying for him.
The burn unit at Grady is one of the best in the country, I've heard. I know he'll get good care there.

I will be praying for him! It's so awful how someone can do something so irresponsibly like throwing a paint can into a fire with a child near by!

How horrible, wishing him a fast recovery as pain free as they can possibly make it for him.
