Oooh!! i wannit, i wannit, i wannit!
http://www.soothsoft.com/Chillow.htm I saw this on ABC's "The View" Yesterday or the day before. I have rice pillows that i run back and fourth to the freezer at night to switch out to keep my pillows cold. they don't work so well. Has anyone tried this pillow...or rather chillow? If not, do you do anything else to keep your pillows cool at night? Or does that not bother you?

I don't have one but when it's hot here, I take out the cool blocks ( normally used in the cool box for picnics etc.) I wrap one or two in a pillow case and hold it close to my solar plexus ( the bit beneath your boobies
)
Because it is sort of central to the rest of your body, it does cool the whole of me down pretty quickly
I once bought baby sized "Hot water Bottles" and filled them with water and froze them, used them the same way as the blocks, it's just they are not as hard and one baby bottle does instead of two cooler blocks.
We also have Wine bottle coolers that are gel filled and stay in the freezer until needed, of course I have another use for them in hot weather! As they are open each end I pull on to my arms to cover my wrists up
Again the blood "passes this way" & it works pretty well, I am so good at thinking about how to stay cool with freezer blocks and the like that I have been known to develop frostbite in the middle of Summer
Spritzing your pillow with water will turn it into a temporary "Chillow"
......the warmth of your head and face will dry it out, just don't go mad with the water, you don't want to end up swimming
I hope some of this helps?
Karen
