Red face The food police have gone too far!

I'm all for teaching children good eating habits but this is too much. Have Oscar or Elmo change the way they eat, leave poor Cookie monster alone!

That IS going too far. He is COOKIE MONSTER for crying out loud...not "Moderation Monster"! Ridiculous.

People just need to learn to leave things alone. I was floored by a handout that my kids brought home from school the other day, about "Week of the Young Child". It had a list of things you should do if you see a parent mistreating (or disciplining!) a child in public. One of the things listed was to compliment the child when you can see that the parent is frustrated. I can just see that now....kid on the floor throwing a full-on tantrum, parent understandably losing patience, and then here comes some dummy who actually has the nerve to COMPLIMENT the child? "Nice tantrum you're throwing there! Good Boy!" I am totally against child abuse but COME ON NOW.

I guess I am off on a tangent now, LOL...but really, society does not want children disciplined at all, and they want to tell everyone what they can eat too. *shakes head*
