    Default Back from the Doctor!

    Well, we have quite a crew over here today! I took the day off from work to take Julia and Patrick to the doctor. The prognosis?

    Julia - ear infection, viral infection similar to Fifth's Disease and Strep that is causing a nasty rash all over her body and a very sore throat and an upset stomach

    Patrick - ear infection, pinkeye

    My kids don't get sick, so it's weird that it's all coming on at once, but I guess it's better to get it all over with at one time! They are such troopers! We didn't even suspect that either of them had the ear infections...just the pinkeye and the rash!

    So, we loaded up at the pharmacy with the prescriptions and everyone is napping now. Please send them quick healing thoughts!

    Doing better, Darlene...thanks for asking!

    You'd really never know Patrick had an ear infection...he's a tough guy. His eyes look better too. Much reduction in the amount of pinkeye-eye goop today.

    Julia seems to be on the mend as well. Her spirits are up, although I wouldn't be surprised if she crashed here pretty soon. She's NOT a napper, but had a power one yesterday and I think is headed for another today. I am pleased, though, that she finally ate something today. She refused to eat for the past few days because it hurt her throat and stomach. She downed a bagel with cream cheese and some crackers earlier. Yeah!
