I'm very sad
My wonderful and beautiful god-daughter Casey is in the spinal unit of Brisbane with a serious spinal injury. She was coming home in a bus on Friday night with a girlfriend when the bus was hit at a set of traffic lights by a speeding Tarrago being driven by a 16 year old and being chased by the police. The Tarrago ran the red light and side swiped Casey's bus. The bus rolled and ended up on its roof. Danielle, the friend, was bruised but otherwise uninjured. She phoned Diane (Casey's mum) who rushed down to find what she described as a war zone. There were 12 people taken to the local hospital. They air-lifted Casey and a couple of others to the hospital in the state capital.
Diane phoned me to tell me this morning. She said Casey's had a number of tests but basically can't move her arms and legs at all. She's got a catheter in, a drip and various monitors. I just phoned the hospital and they said there's no change. She will have more tests tomorrow.

This is horrible news.
I'm so sorry. Keeping you all in my thoughts and hoping the tests show something positive and encouraging. It's a devastating tragedy and I'm hoping she'll be all right.

Oh Rhonda, that is terrible! I so hope that they find out what's wrong, fix it & give this young lady her life back.
