Can't believe our weather today
Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day, about 60 degrees. Today we have snow, lots of wind and about 30 degrees. 30 degrees is not bad, but the wind chill always makes it so much colder. It looks like a blizzard out but I hear we are not supposed to get much snow out of this.
DS is home from college this weekend and is out working in this helping unload two truck loads of cattle. Poor guy must be freezing.

I can't believe the weather this year either!
We've had so much rain here in Southern Nevada and yesterday it was rainy and cold all day. The winds whipped around at 50 mph for 2 nights in a row.
Next week we are finally going to get some 70's and possibly low 80's here. Atleast we aren't having to run the AC yet which is wonderfull.
I hope your crappy weather goes away quickly and remember, kids are resilent. Actually my ds loves being out in the cold weather.

I can relate. Yesterday it was a beautiful 80 degrees, sunny, no wind. We worked in the yard a bit in the morning and then ran some errands around noon, and it seemed like everyone in town was outside in their yards, it was so cool! The kids wore shorts and tank tops and played outside all day. DH even *finally* put the swingset together!
Now TODAY on the other hand....it's about 47 degrees, so cloudy that it is dark outside, and it is POURING. And the WIND is really whipping out there too. Ugh.

We had snow for 2 days followed by about 5 days of up to 70mph winds followed by a picture perfect day, followed by a blustery day at about 60 degrees and today it's the same. We're expecting snow tonite!

Yuck!! Hopefully the weather changes soon. We've been blessed with warmth and sunshine for the last couple of days after more than a week of heavy rain!

We had 60's yestrday too, and this morning woke up to at least 9-10 inches outside. We will be in a blizzard watch until 6 am tomorrow morning. It is still comming down. Pastor cancelled church activities this morning because alot of our parishners would have to travel long distances in dangerous conditions to get here. and at that time the roads hadn't been plowed yet either. The roads are plowed now, have been for a few hours, but you can see a build up of about 2-3 inches on them since the plow went. This is just craziness. I am ready for spring now.
