The dispatcher used EXTREMELY bad judgement. But why was the mom calling 911 because her 12 and 13 year old girls were fighting?

My thoughts exactly. My DH is a cop, and they get a lot of dumb calls... people will call 911 for things that are in no way an emergency, which then ties up the cops, dispatchers, etc. when someone else is calling with a real emergency. If the kid was threatening someone's life or something, maybe it was a legitimate call. Originally posted by i.m.cheap

But, anyways, while I am in no way excusing the dispatcher's behavior, I'm guessing that wasn't the first questionable call he'd had that day.
