So ticked off at Rooms to go Kids!...............(m)
...............DH finally agreed that my idea to put the girls in bunk beds was a good one. He found a set of fairly cute beds on sale at RTGK, so he took DD#1 there yesterday. Gets there and calls me to tell me that they aren't available until 5/17. Okay, well, we've waited this long, what's another month right? Then he calls me to tell me the total with shipping. Then he calls me to tell me he cancelled the order. Why? Because the doggone mattress support slats were NOT included with the bed, and they were an extra $50 a piece!!!! HELLO?????
What a way to stick it to you once you get there! In the mean time, I have found a couple of really cute sets online that are cheaper, including shipping AND the slats! We are moving them into a smaller room and making the bonus room a family room so we can keep the mess out of the living room.

I would have been ticked off too Cheryl!
That is downright stupid, I have never heard of a bunk bed NOT coming with the slat supports. Good for your dh for cancelling the order!

Oh my goodness! That is just crazy!
Glad you are finding something better! We did the same thing, the boys all share a room that is for sleeping/homework and that's it. The other bedroom we turned into a playroom/mini den for them. It has toys, couch, tv, and all kinds of things to keep them busy!

I've never shopped there and now I know that I never will!Originally posted by PrairieRose
Highway robbery I'd say. I'm glad that he cancelled the order! That's outrageous.
