That you called a childhood friend and had a good long chat?

I know some of you are still where you grew up and that must be nice. I have lived in so many different places since I left home over 10 years ago. I was there visiting at christmas time and ran into a friend I grew up with. She gave me her phone number and I thought I lost it but I found it yesterday. She lived 4 houses down from my childhood home and we were really close, but just have lost touch over the last 9 years. She just had her first baby and is a middle school teacher. It is nice to finally get in contact with her again! She recently moved back to our hometown. It just made my week to talk to her!

Been a long time. Shame that I didn't try harder to keep those childhood friendships going.

Its been quite awhile. I have one I still stay in contact with but its been along time since I've gotten to meet up with her as well. When I look back and think of alllll the "BEST FRIENDS" I've had that I haven't kept in contact with its sad!

I am still best friends with my 2 childhood best friends. We all still talk regularly.

It's been a long while since I last spoke to any of my childhood friends. I have pretty much been away since I was 18- living all over, it's difficult to keep friendships going- it's hard keeping track of all the friends from different places, never mind the childhood ones- I definitely recommend trying however; because it's worth it- somehow, it helps you stay connected with your past in a positive way
