Liiizzzaaaarrrdddddd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tonight I was giving the girls and bath, and DH comes upstairs holding a bucket with something scurrying inside. It was a tailess lizard that our decrepit cat mustered the energy to catch! The girls were outside today and kept going in and out of the garage, leaving the door open - I figure it came in there since they like our garage.
Anyway, we showed it to the girls. DD#2 who is 3 - loves frogs and lizards. We took it outside and let it go and she WAILED! LIZARD!!!! LIZARD!!!! I WANT LIZARD!!!!!
I have this vision of her in a safari hat and mosquito netting searching the Amazon for a new frog species!

This is too cute! And your husband is a dear for indulging his daughter's love and rescuing it so she could see it.Originally posted by daddys3chicks

We had a "lizard" halloween costume that I bought at a rummage sale. It amounted to a tail and gloves made out of a green satiny material. The tail was on a belt like thing and slipped around the kid's waist and the gloves went to the elbows and had spiney ridges. It looked pretty simple to make by someone who might have a little knowledge of sewing..... You could add a hood of the same material and have a complete deal.~~Jean~~

LOL...that reminds me of when my brother, Kat's husband was little. For weeks he refused to sleep in his bed screaming there was a monster under it.
My parents finally decided tyo prove to him that there was no monster and got under the bed, where they found a lizard that thye cat had brought in

I'm glad I'm here in Ohio.... no lizzards! You might find a raccoon or a squirrel in your garage, but, I don't know what I'd do if I found a lizzard!
