    Default Casey's out of hospital

    She came home yesterday.    We are all really pleased about that.  She's not fully recovered, she can't feel her legs properly and she doesn't know when she wants to go to the bathroom - she goes every couple of hours now, just in case.  At the moment she can only walk with crutches.  BUT...she feels good and she's committed to getting full movement back.  She has exercises to do and she will go to rehab three times a week.  The doctor says it will be a few months before she can work again.

    The main thing is that she survived this horrible accident and with work and persistence she will recover. One second earlier or a feet feet closer and it would have been a different story, so we are grateful.

    I'm so glad she's out of the hospital. Being home where she's surrounded by her loved ones is going to boost her morale even more. She sounds like a very strong willed young lady, determined to get her life back. Cheering Casey on from here.
