I feel like I saw a thread (not here) about a woman nursing monkeys a month or two ago. After that, someone there (who said she would do it, too) was nick-named"Monkey nurser" which was very funny, but I digress.
Anyway, I guess I have heard of weirder things, but you couldn't pay me enough to nurse tigers. What about her kid? Breast milk changes in response to the germs encountered by the breast. Wonder what tiger germs will do! And I am concerned that the long feedings will mess with the hindmilk/foremilk balance and screw with her son's belly. Oh, well. Guess SHE is REALLY a cat-lover!

And lest you think this isn't a real story, it was reposrted by BBC, too, so it is probably real.

I'm glad to see that since they wouldn't bottle feed and mother wouldn't have anything to do with them, that they found some alternative to help the cubs survive!
