Share some GOOD news please
The last few months have been very difficult and last night we got more bad news. A friend of our who went to a bigger city for some tests was told there was nothing they could do for him; go home and get your affairs in order. What a shock!
I know there's been a lot of good happening too and it would do my heart wonders if you could share some good news. I need to focus on more positive things and I thought you all could help me.
Ok, my good news
As you of you might have read, my inlaws are taking dd on a trip to Finland, Holland, and Russia. Very exciting!

My sister told me last night she's coming for a visit on June 9 - 14. She wants to help me with my sewing.
I can't tell you how pleased I am that she's coming.

The good news today is DH is picking up his van in Washington, DC. Now he will have his moving/"camper" van while in Denver and if he decides to start his own business here then he will have the van to start it! Either way it's very good to have it!

Tina,
My good news is about my kids, as well. They have been practicing furiously for a band concert (6th grade band) on May 6. We are totally thrilled about it -- I got weepy at their last group practice on Saturday! -- a mom thing.
And on May 3 they will have a 6th grade vocal music program on music from radio's past. My son is to dress up like one of the Beatles on Sgt Peppers album and came home with a red band jacket he is to wear -- super costume! My daughter will be outfitted like an 80s disco queen and has a dance to perform. Lots of fun that evening too.
Your daughter's upcoming trip sounds wonderful! Lucky girl!
Take care!~~Jean~~

My good news is that my best friend will probably be allowed to adopt a child...something she's been wanting to do for a long time. (She's not able to have kids of her own.)

I am wearing a pair of jeans that was too tight a couple of weeks ago! I have a LONG way to go to reach my goal. But it is a small victory.
