Talking DH tool me on a shopping spree!

DH umpired a baseball tournament Friday and most of Saturday with the intention of using that money to buy me some new clothes. He said he was tired of seeing my "old" clothes hang off me since losing weight. He also knew that if he gave the money to me, I probably wouldn't spend it on clothes for me. So he kept the money and went with me. I had fun trying on different clothing items. I am so happy that they actually fit!!

I ended up with 3 crop pants for work, 1 jean capris for casual Friday, 1 nice shirt, and 1 cute capri overalls. I can wear everything I purchased to work which was my main agenda anyway. I am so excited! I can't wait to wear something new tomorrow.

I just gotta love DH when he does something wonderful just for me! He spent all his money on me except $20. I tried to leave him with a little bit.

Opps, the title should read DH "took" me on a shopping spree! Not "tool".

    Can't edit.

What a lovely man! He must love you a lot to give you that money PLUS go shopping with you. Not many men would do that. I'm really happy you got some new clothes, they'll make you feel like a new woman.

I agree -- any man that keep back the money just for his wife and then actually GO shopping with her is a wonder. Must be love!
