Default Well 3 times in 10 months

I really am getting tired of the ER and ICU. I just spent the last 5 days in the hospital. 4 of it in ICU. I spent Thurday and Friday at the clinic for pediatrics with my 9yo grandson. On Thursday we were sent home even with his white blood count eleavated. So on Friday moning we head back to the Dr. All this time he is in pain on his right side and throwing up. Friday they do an ultra sound on the right side and come o find out his apendexs was bad. So he has surgery and we were told it was seconds from bursting. So he's in the hospital and then Sat morning at 5:30 am I have to call my son to come get me and take me to ER. Could not breath. So off I go. They worked on me in the Er. Seemed like hours. nothing was working to help me breath. They gave me thr shots of steroids and it helped a little. Then sent me to ICU. Still in deep !#@@#$#$. So the get permission to try some thing different. Heliox. Which is Hellium and oxegen mixed. so for 2 days I have this mask on and a continual breathing treatment. Thank God for modern medicines. It helps alot other wise it was a tube down the throat.Which I did not want. I'm doing better. Just not great. They say it happened because the bronchitis I have been fighting for 6 weeks did not get better and turned into pneumonia. but I'm home now just feeling tired

Take care of yourself, Fern! Glad you could avoid the TUBE. The bronchitis "junk" this year has been a bear, hasn't it!?

Well I'm back from the Dr. He saids no stress and the right lung is stating to weeze again.... So more breathing treatments and meds... With luck everything will get better. This time I was pretty scared because of the breathing wasn't getting better. But I have a goal. One breath at a time Fern
Yes I'm out of my mind. It's a dark and scary place in there.
