Guess it my turn to get rid of some anger
Well I'm home have my grandsons too. I couldn't even get 1 day of rest after being in the hospital. I don't fault my son. He's stuck between a rock and a hard spot. He spent Friday -- Monday at the hospital. with his son before and after surgery. Good dad. His boss wanted him to go back to work so he asks the mother to stay with him. She did off and on. He gets released Mon evening and she starts to pitch a @@$%^&*( about doing it. took him out of the hospital and dumped both boys on her mother so she could party. The other grandmother is working 2 jobs. My son is working long hours to make ends meet. Mother is not working at all. What is wrong with some people now days????
I have no infomation on his surgery or his next Dr appt . I think his wound is infected. I did call the clinic and got his appt time and date. But its the wound I am worryed about. Mother has all the paper work, and wh know where she's at. I'm 48. and this hospital stay was the worse one yet. Oh well got it off my chest so now its back to taking care of bussiness. Fern

Fern, just read your other post and saw why dgs was in the hospital.
My oldest ds had a burst appendix and was operated on and sent home after 10 days. After 3 days home we had to take him back for another surgery due to an infection and he fought that infection in the hospital for another 11 days. They had to leave the second surgery partially open to drain and I had to pack it every day for about 10 days.
So why am I telling you this? Check his temperature. If there is any fever at all you need to get him into the ER NOW!"Success on any major scale requires you to accept responsibity."

Well we're back from the Dr's. Its just a little infected so now we do the antibiotic thing and take him back on Monday. It does seam like when it rains its pours. I know I took care of him then I fell apart, and had to be taken care of...... He's doing better and I am doing fair. I guess they are right one day at a time and things half to get better........
