Update on Colby - burn victim
Colby came back to school this week!! He is healing very nicely. His face and neck look really good - I have to put sunscreen on him every time we go outdoors to protect that tender skin. His hands and arms are still pretty scarred. They are bandaged to protect from infection.
My students have been so great! They've rallied around Colby and they take care of his every need. He was really nervous the first day back, afraid the kids would stare or make fun of him. My precious students sheltered him and made sure he felt welcomed and loved, God bless their little hearts!
He had a doctors appointment today to check his progress and to find out more about the possibility of skin graphs on his hands.
Just wanted to give everyone an update. Thanks for all your prayers.Nothing can taste as good as being thin will feel.

Tater that is such wonderful news. Many times people underestimate the loving hearts and characters of children. Friendship and compassion can cure as many ills as modern medicine. I am so glad that he is on the mend. Thanking God for miracles big and small.
