Anybody watching the news?
(Evil Grin) I thought exactly the same thing when I just read the story on MSN. The fellows radio had broke or something he must have soiled his pants when they shot warning flares across his bow. Oh My GOd I am glad I cant fly I can picture something like that happening to me.
On cell phone because god forbid one of the kids cant find me and have to know "RIGHT NOW... "Can I go play at pauls house? Whats for supper?"
So I am flying along trying to answer the kid on the cell and ROT RO RORGE! Hmm "honey can I call you back the secret service is shooting at my plane .... yes go see Paul but dont be late for supper and NO FIGHTING "...... as My plane is hit dead on by the warning shot... as I land the MP's attack My plane.... My reaction?.... "WHAT is all the commotion about Geesh I was on the phone with my kid!"
Hmmm! Food for thought there

I'm glad your son's okay Lisa! I feel terrible about the pilot too! That must have been so embarrassing!

I bet that was very terrifying! I am glad it didn't amount to much more than a lost pilot.

I was here in the office on the phone when hubby called me into the living room. He had come in from outside to get a cool drink and decided to watch a little television while he rested. We watched it on Fox news channel from the beginning when they were not quite sure yet why the evacuation had been ordered.
I kept thinking "oh no, not again!" I'm really relieved it wasn't something serious.

The plane started out not too far from my house at a little airport about 15 miles from my house. How weird is that?
