Mine would be a trip to Mexico for NEXT summer. I fell in love with it. The other couple who went on the trip with us wants to go next summer with us and share a house. We figure we will need $3000. for the trip. I know that shounds like an obsene amount of money for one week. I keep thinking we have NEVER had a vacation where were din't go see family with the exception of our honeymoon. This will be one of the things that Alex will look back on fondly as an adult with her kids. (hopefully)
How about you? Do you have a (Mexico) in your future?
ours is a trip to Disney World for the family when DS (3) is about 7.

Life is a banquet and some poor bastards are starving.
Totally unfrugal? Hmmm... boots. I have a bit of a boot fetish! I wear boots year round. Though not just any boots -- they have to be those sexy high heeled knee high boots. I wear them all the time and I always feel so confident and attractive in them.
So I'm saving money for a pair I saw at the store the other day. They are sooooooo me! I have to have them.
Trip to east coast for my nephew's wedding and cousin's wedding. That trip has a $2000 budget and we'll be there 12 days.
Trip to west coast for my son's boot camp graduation. We'll be there 5 days. That trip has a budget of $3000. We'll be flying, staying at a hotel every night and taking ds's girlfriend with us.
Above round pool- we know what we want, and keep tossing money in the envelope. Hoping to get one at the end of the season this year, to use next year. We'll see how the money amount goes.
A trip To Canada (we are thinking Vancouver maybe).......a trip to Hawaii ~We just loved it there
Eventually a trip back to Australia, but that would cost$$$$$$$$$ because I want to go on the seats that turn into beds well it is more than 24 hours flying time to get there
This is all in the future, so we keep on saving & hoping
Currently the only thing I'm saving for is a crib, mattress, stroller, car seat, etc. for this baby. We didn't plan on having more after ds and sold everything a couple of years ago. I won't buy any of those items used (safety concerns), but I will watch for sales!
After our upcoming trip, I want to start setting some money aside for a trip next year as well. We'd like to go to the west coast of FL so ds can go to the aquarium and zoo there and then head a little south to a beach famous for shark's teeth being easily found.

I am saving in ing savings account for a new computer. I have $10 every payday put in there and any extra and it gets 3% intrest so I hope to get a new PC by Christmas!
I really want at least twelve more sessions with my personal trainer at the gym. Unfortunately it's expensive and in the past I use to really think that it was very unfrugal and I wasn't worth it, until I started doing it. Now I think if you can afford it, do it! You have to buy a minimum of 12 session for $600.
hmm, I'm not saving for anything, but I am paying off something that I wanted done for a very long time - Lasik surgery. I had it done in Jan since there was a great deal (got $900 off) so I couldn't pass it up. Once I get that paid off I will start saving for our annual pig-roast. Costs so much money to throw, but it is worth it!!!

I want a new Canon A95 camera. I have a perfectly good Olympus but it's a 1.3 megapixel camera. I have had this camera about five years and it shows no sign of dying.
