What would your perfect Sunday be like?
I think for me it would be a beautiful sunny day, not too hot though
, We'd all go to church in the morning and have lunch waiting for us all in the crockpot when we got back. Doug or the kids would clean up the dishes and table and I'd go for an hour nap. Once I got up I'd go and sit in my big Muskoka chair under the maple tree and read for awhile as well as walking through my gardens.
I'd have a roast, potatoes and carrots in the oven cooking for supper and we'd have some neighbours over for a nice visit. Oh and my house would be sparkling clean so I wouldn't have to fuss all day....all I'd have to do is set the table.
Since it's "my perfect day", the dishes would be done for me and we'd all visit for awhile before they headed home.
The evening would be spent together as a family watching a good movie or playing a game inside or out.
I'd end my day with a long bubble bath where I had NO interruptions of MOM being yelled at the top of one of the kids lungs!! I'd soak and soak and then off to bed to read a bit more and drift off to a peaceful night's sleep.
(Now don't ask me where the rest of my family was for the day because I couldn't go that long without someone asking me where something was or if they could go somewhere?)
What about you, what would your perfect day be like?

My perfect Sunday would be on a retreat at a lodge in the mountains, by myself basking in the beauty surrounding me.
I'd sleep in until I felt like getting up, have a nice leisurely bath and then head out for a scrumptious lunch.
I'd head back to the lodge, put my walking boots on and walk.
Night time would find be by the fireplace with a good book, relaxed and enjoying the moment, knowing that my family would be picking me up Monday morning.

My perfect sunday would be to wander around a town I'd never been to before looking at the gardens and art galleries. I'd stay at a B & B overnight to relax after returning to "normal" the next day.

My perfect Sunday would be Mayberry. LOL! Seriously - go to church, sit on the porch after a nice meal and rest. I wish I actually HAD a porch to sit on, one with a nice swing.

Mine would be at home with all my family, children, granddaughters, parents and all my siblings. We would go to church as a family and then have a nice lunch and spend the rest of the day visiting and watching the children play. In the evening everyone would go home to their own houses remembering what a wonderful day it was.

Mine would be to have a morning just relaxing at home, enjoying a latte and croissants with DH, then going to watch the rugby with family and friends!

I'd like a Mayberry Sunday, too. Maybe sip on some lemonaide while sitting on the front porch and watch the neighborhood. At any rate, there wouldn't be the rush-rush activity and arguing with the kids about activities and undone homework and unpracticed music lessons!

My perfect Sunday would be to not have to go anywhere for the whole day ( unless someone took me out to lunch )
With my family all home and just spending quality time together.
My DS is growing so fast and I want to hang on to him awhile longer as my boy who wanted to be home instead with GF and friends

My perfect Sunday would begin with me perfectly rested from the night before. I would wake up on time with no alarm and have plenty of time to get ready (and get my girls ready) for church. I would actually have time to eat breakfast.
After a smooth a.m service we would come home, eat a simple quiet lunch and take naps. We would read the paper, then go back to church for p.m worship service. We would come home, maybe even have friends over too, to eat supper and play a board game before storytime & bed time for the girls.
None of these things is impossible so why aren't my Sundays like this? I'll just have to keep trying, I guess

Get up and take a nice early morning walk. Read the paper. Go to church. Have the kids and the grandchildren over. Put a pile of ribbs and corn on the cob on the grill. Drink some nice cold beer.

I like the Mayberry idea.
I would have a perfect Sunday if I could just do the things I enjoy doing without having to clean up after anyone or anything.~*Michelle*~
