    Default what would you do with $5000

    If you won, or were given, $5000 what would you do with it?

    I think I'd hide it from DH until we sold our store and then I surprise him with a nice holiday, maybe to New Zealand.

    cry like a loon, lol.

    after i mopped up the tears, I'd get my yard fixed up, weeded and seeded with grass seed (the weeds are setting off allergy problems). and with whatever is left over I would probably save towards a work shed for me out in the back yard.

    I'd spend it on the house-- getting a fence for the yard, some furniture in the spare bedroom. We don't have any debts right now other than the mortgage, so, I'd have a wonderful time spending it!

    I'd give 10% away and pay the rest toward our remaining debt.

    Buy DH a inexpensive TV so he can finish his basement room. Then pay off the Lowe's card and put the rest towards my car loan.
