OMG - we were under a tornado warning
We still are under severe weather warnings. The tornado warning just went off. It was for our town specifically along with 2 other towns around us. The tornado was spotted although it didn't touch ground and went back up into the clouds. It was pretty ominous here.
This is the first tornado warning we've had specific to our town. For the past couple years we've had watches and warnings but for areas surrounding us.
Our little town made the local CBC and CTV news.

Its just a tad bit scarey watching those clouds, listening to the warnings on the news and trying to calm the kids down all at the same time.
It looks like were okay for now - they are saying bad weather until the weekend. The ground is soggy its so wet. My garden is flooded!!

Glad you are all ok. So sorry to hear about your garden, you didn't have one for a bit & started last year(if I remember correctly) & that was flooded & now this year the same thing.

Hope it dries out & perks back up.~*Darlene*~

I'm sorry your garden is flooded Cj....
That's the pits. I'm glad that you didn't have an actual tornado. We get them about once a week here and the thing is they don't actually post the WARNING until a tornado has been spotted here.
We have the city sirens go off about 2-3 times per year. That means there's one headed right for us, to hit the cellar (which b.t.w. we don't have but we have neighbors that have a basement).
