    Default Any poets out there?

For years, I have gotten odd plates, baskets, etc. at yard sales and thrift stores. I keep these and then make candies, cookies, muffins to give to people when they are sick, sad, new in the neighborhood, etc. I intend for them to keep the plate.

Any one know of a good poem, or can write one for me to include with the goodies- so they know to keep the plate after they've eaten the food.

I'm not a poet, but what a wonderful act of kindness Denise.

Here is a response I received from another group.

Feel free to use this for your gifts as well. I would like other ideas , poems and sayings as well- sometimes I give more than once to the same person.

    For You

I leave these treats and thoughts for you,
And when the treat is gone
Please keep the (fill in blank) I put them in,
or fill it up and pass it on!

    Many Smiles,

    Here's another response I received.

    This plate is full;
    Goodies for you.
    Enjoy the food,
    Keep the plate, too.

Those are good. Here is another just for some variety.

This plate (dish, tin, etc) is full of treats I share
with someone special as can be.
Enjoy them and when the plate is bare,
please use it and think of me.
