Default ? about San Bernadino & Tracy California

DH is suppose to be taking a business trip to San Bernadino and Tracy CA. I may be going with him. They said I could go except I would have to pay for my own plane ticket. Other than that everything else would be paid for.

My question is are there any sites to see in these areas? I don't want to be locked up in the hotel all day waiting while he is in meetings all day. They told him that we could see the sites in San Francisco after finishing up in Tracy. Is it close together? I know nothing about either place. So any advice, input, help is greatly appreciated.

He won't be leaving until late July. I am just getting a head start to see if I really want to go with him. I am also terrified to fly because I have never flown before. I will panic I am sure.

Well Michelle, the only attraction that I can think of in SB is....

    ME!

I am about 50 miles from there.

There is lots of outlet shopping, but other than that...me is all I can think of.

This is not a joke! we could have a little frugal fun..........

I hate to say that, Tracy doesn't have much either. I live about an hour away from there in the foothills, gold country. There are some great towns in the foothills, near me.
Tracy is alot of urban sprawl. It has outlet stores, too. The farm land is turning into housing for the bay area and it is very flat because it's part of a very large valley.
If you want to drive, it's pretty easy to get to the neat towns, by me. Do a search for:
    Jamestown
    Columbia State Park
(both in Tuolumne County, try tourism, maybe...)
    Angels Camp
    Murphys
    (Both in Calaveras County)
You could take a day and make this loop, for a fun time...
I'll try to post more later,

Hey Robin, that sounds like fun! I may take you up on it because what better thing could I possibly do?

I thought about you when he told me he would be traveling there.

Lacy, thanks for the info. I will look the info up. I just don't want to be sitting all day waiting for him to return. I guess I could sit by the pool all day...lol!
