Thumbs down Had a bad day yesterday.....

Started off Jack ended up not having to go to work, so I didn't set my alarm and slept in, got up around 7.

Then I'm in the sewing room, finishing up a few things and I got extremely dizzy, nauseous and I couldn't focus my eyes. So at 11am I layed down. I was so hot, Jack finally felt sorry for me and put the 2 a/c in. I slept until almost 5pm got up and felt a bit better, only to fall asleep again in my recliner by 9:30! I have been up now since 2:30 am and feel MUCH better. I think I got way too much of the heat the last few days, so today I am staying inside as much as possible. I didn't like that feeling at all!

And yes I am guzzling the water down, so I am staying hydrated. I have never had sweat actually drip off me, and that is what has been happening the last few days. The humidity has been beastly here too, so I'm sure that hasn't helped. My hands have been swollen for days now, I can't even move my wedding rings.

For those in the northeast, stay hydrated and out of the heat, so this doesn't happen to you.

Glad your going to take it easy & that Jack put the ac units in. It really has been horrible, I get whatever I can done before I get online so it's I can just chill.(no ac here) My poor Jack's been delivering the mail all week & comes home miserable. Looks like we all have to wait til mid-week for the weather pattern to break. Ugh. Take good care.
At 6am I was making chicken & pasta primavera so dinners all cooked, just need to reheat in the micro later.

    Smart lady Darlene!

I just finished planting the last of our flowers and veggies. The sun is just breaking through the fog, so time to close up the house!

Dee you have an open invitation to come up north. For the next 2 weeks we won't be going over 70F. The nights have been around 40F. Wanna come?

Glad Jack put in the a/c. You take it easy okay. Heat and humidity can be a horrible combination for anyone. One thing I can't handle is heat and humidity - does me in.

I'm sorry you had a bad day. The heat has been horrible here in MI too. I was thankful for the storms yesterday to just cool things off a little.

    Glad you're feeling better today.
