Dave just emailed me. He is going to Japan for work from 7/2-7/7
I'm in shock. I wish we could go too--it's the trip of a lifetime--but the airfare alone is $930.

Airfare is actually cheaper than I'd expect it to be. I'm sorry you all can't go.

Yep that's pretty cheap for airfare. Cost my sis that just to fly from Seattle to Syracuse.

What a lucky guy! Wish you could all go too. My MIL went and I really enjoyed all of the photos and the souvenoirs that she brought home. It really is a trip he wil never forget.

I guess this won't be the only time he's going to go as his boss is making his 2nd trip out there in 2 mos when Dave goes. I am glad Dave will have someone with him who has been there before. I'm also hoping to make a little vacation out of it next time he goes
