Doing Anything Special For Father's Day?
We are going to my fil's for bagels with the whole family, just like every Sunday. We'll be celebrating Father's Day with my dh's family there. Then, we'll be coming home for awhile and hanging out. Then, we'll be going out to dinner with my parents to celebrate Father's Day with my father.
Julia made a sweet little tile plaque for Rob at nursery school, and at Patrick's daycare, they took a picture of him holding a sign that says "I Love You Father's Day 2005." Rob was thrilled with both.
It's looking a bit overcast here today.
So, what are you doing in your neck of the woods? My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com

I'm not sure yet. lol I'd like to do whatever he'd like to do today. I'm going to offer to mow.
We did lunch at Bennigans yesterday and we purchased a new domain name for him to work on and that's what he wanted.
I sat through a sci fi movie with him last night. lol
I'll have to post later what we ended up doing.
No set plans. His day to spend the way he wants.
It's a beautiful and sunny day over here after days and days of rain and ugly skies. If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. We normally go out for brunch, but to save money I made breakfast at home today

We had homemade belgian waffles (made with my yard sale find waffle maker) w/ strawberries (from last year's sales! in my freezer), scrambled eggs, & turkey bacon (on sale 2 months ago for $1/lb). It was yummy!
Later we are going to walk to an antique car show that's only a couple of blocks from the house. Nice free entertainment
Then we'll come home to watch the Nascar race & fold laundry lol.

I made homemade belgian waffles too, but no strawberries...made eggs and regular bacon.

Went to BF's sister & BIL's house. It was a nice time. I shot skeet for the first time!
I actually hit one! And I've got the bruise to prove it! LOL!

The kids gave their dad a Mr Clean car wash/dry kit and we went out to breakfast at Cracker Barrell (very bad for the diet). Later in the day we went to see Star Wars. Great day, I think!

We went to my mom's house and she gave the boys haircuts. My oldest mowed their yard while my dh, me and the little one went to see Star Wars. Unfortunately, while I was standing in line for our tickets, the freaking movie was sold out. My little guy was so upset, and so was dh. He really wants to see that movie. So, we just went back home. It would not be a big deal if the movie theaters were closer to home. But there is none that is closer than 30 minutes away. So, another day we will give it a try I guess. You would have thought that they would have had it playing on more than one screen, and also since it has been out for a while, that it would not have sold out.
