Clothes--So many choices, So litttle time
Every time I go to the mall or Kohl's, I feel overwhelmed. It's takes a long time for me to find something I like that I know I would wear. Do you have certain standards or criteria when it comes to buying clothes or shoes? I been trying to find a clothes that are made in the U.S. So far, I'm not have any success I have a basic style of wardrobe that won't go out of style or at least in my opinion. I refuse to spend a lot on clothes because with 6 pets and spending a lot of time outdoors, I have a hard time keeping my clothes in excellent condition and free of stains.
One of my pet peeves is that I can't find shirts or other clothing that are made in the U.S. However, I did find several websites online that did sell shirts and other clothing that are made in the U.S. If you recommend a website that sells clothing in the U.S., please let me know.
I was also looking at the cost of organic cotton clothing online and it's too much for my budget. I did check eBay and I thought the prices were high on used organic cotton clothing.

My problem is that I can't find stuff to fit properly. I don't like *tight* stuff since it shows how big my stomach is (it's bloated all the time from IBS, so it looks like I'm 5 months preggo all the time) and I hate to buy ill-fitting clothes.

I very rarely buy clothes. I dumpster dive. Let me tell you what I've gotten lately!
An entire summer wardrobe for me and 1/2 for a friend, from somebody with very good taste (some still had labels on them and hadn't been worn).
I got those last winter and saved them until this spring.
I also got, this spring...or should I say hubby got them...two boxes of womens clothes, designer labels. An entire winter sweater collection of some beautiful sweaters that don't have snags or stains or anything. Along with some nice slacks.
I'm dressing better now than when I went to the thrift stores. So, I get to save my money for shoes.

I have a ton of clothes even after giving away about 8 garbage bags full last summer.
Do I wear them all? Heck no, not even a tenth of them.
Most of my shirts I make myself, that way they fit like I want them to. Also if I find a pattern that is perfect, I might have 12 of the same, just different colors.
Jeans I strictly buy Lee's, I don't care how much they are, they are the only brand that fits me. This is not to say I don't look in Thrift Stores for them, I do and have found 2 pair this way.
Dress clothes, I have found I do best at JC Penny's, they have an awesome selection of petites and their styles are classic, which I love.
Shoes well luckily I'm not hard on my shoes and they last for years and years for me. I love a certain brand and for the life of me I can't remember the name of them.
I have 3 pair and all are at least 10 yrs old and still going strong even wearing them daily.
So for me, I stay with classic styles that you can dress up with accessories and same with shoes.~~ Dee ~~
