    Default My 50 Chickens

I have recieved a huge blessing.

I went to the truck stop to meet my ex and get a tiny piece of the child support that I almost had to beg to get. While I was there waiting for him to go to the ATM ( he just left me standing in the video game room for the better part of a half an hour) A man approached me and said that he was a driver for Walmart/Sam's Club and that he attempted to deliver a truck load of frozen chickens to Sam's and a whole pallet fell of and they refused the pallet. He said his dispatcher told him to dump it in the trash and head out to his next destination. Being a father of several children and understanding how expensive it is to feed a family, he was going to find someone to give them to.

He gave me 5 cases, 10 per case of Tyson, rotissirie ready frozen chickens, Each box even had the lawry's rub, 1 1/4 lb each box. I put each chicken in a ziplock freezer bag and into my big freezer.

My how God provides, especially when it looks bleakest. Two weeks ago I had to throw out almost my entire dry goods stockpile due to an pantry moth infestation, but now I have really been blessed...big time. This chicken will definately hold us until I go back to work in September.

I went to bed feeling so much better last night!

Sounds like you were in the right place at the right time. God sure works in mysterious ways!

I am glad you received these chickens! Now you will have one less thing to worry about.

    Late congratulations on the chicken.

What a ray of sunshine to know that some people out there don't agree with the hideous corporate policy of throwing away perfectly good food/items for no good reason.
