    Unhappy 107!!!

    107 DEGREES!!!

    At 4:30 pm we hit 107! We weren't supposed to get to 107 untill tomorrow so now I'm wondering if we will hit 110 tomorrow. The lows are in the low 80's! Our AC has not shut off since yesterday evening except for a few minutes now and then and we have it set at 77 degrees. We have fans all over the house, all of the blinds and curtains are closed, and I'm sitting here sweating. Arghhhh!

    And I thought it was hot here today!! It got up to 97... lows are around 72...even the pool water is hot

    Oh my, I couldn't imagine. We've been here with 90's, high humidity and no air so I sorta kinda feel your pain. Looking forward to Fall, I don't "do" summer well. Hope the temps calm down quite a bit for you Carolyn.

    At about 2:30 I went outside to leave for town and heard the jacuzzi running! OMG! I turned it on "standby". There is no way I'm even going outside tonight to sit in 104 degree water!

    Whoa...that's just way too hot!

    We went to Vegas in July 2000, and it was 114ยบ. Luckily we were sitting by the pool getting misted by the misters in the palm trees though
