Sorry I haven't been around
I just wanted to apologize for not posting and let everyone know what's been going on.
I am exhausted all the time right now because of prepping for my RAI scan on the 14th. Hopefully I won't need more radiation and will be able to get back on those meds and will feel a lot better.
Also, last month when I saw my neuro for my regular MS appointment he asked me to be a part of a brand new clinical study, I spent all day at the hospital and went back again on the 1st for another full day of Mri's, bloodwork and neurological tests. I also found out that day if I would stay on the Rebif or change to another drug for the study.
I changed..lol...now instead of 3 shots a week I have to do them every day, but so far except for the first shot I don't have any side effects like I was having with the Rebif so I guess it was worth it. It's a 3 year trial and as long as I stay in they pay for all my meds, my neuro visits and $25 everytime I make a regularly scheduled trip to the dr. I will have to go down at least every 3 months for evaluation or if I have any flares.
I may be a little quiet until the 14th but hopefully after that, my concentration will be back to normal and I can participate more. You may see this posted at other boards but it's easier for me to copy and paste it than write it all over and over again..lol.
I want to thank all of you who have emailed me with your support, I love you all.

I'm so hoping for the day you don't have to think about any of this stuff Angie. Hope the study helps and the radiation days are behind you. Hope tonight & the days to come find you pain and care-free.

Well, I don't have to have any radiation this time around! So now I can get back on my thyroid meds and hopefully in a few weeks I'll feel a lot better than I do now!
