    Default What lovely morning

    We have been awaiting the remnants of Cindy and the rain and wind. So, we made alternate plans to the pool today.

    I had to take DD #2 in to the doctor to get the rest of a splinter out of her foot. She did awesome, didn't even flinch or cry and it didn't even bleed! Then I took the girls to the library for some free computer time. We signed up for the summer reading program. When they read ten hours they get a key chain and a coupon for a free frosty. When they get to 25 hours they get a dragon necklace.

    We checked out some books, books on tape, videos and CDs. Then we went to Mc Donald's and had lunch. The girls played and even came willingly when I said it was time to go! Now they are quietly watching one of the videos we got from the library.

    Ah.....can it last????
