    Thanks everyone. The warnings ended up being to the north and south of us, but it was scary for a while. At least I don't have to water my garden today!

    One of the tornados that did happen in NC was about 3 miles from where my mom and stepfather live. Mom was on her way with me and Paige to bring me back to TN and my stepfather was on his lunch break from work bringing my step sister in from the lake at the time that it hit so no one was at home except our dog Molly.

    He called their neighbor and they said that aside from a few limbs, lots of rain, and trashcans turned over he couldn't see any visiable damage but once the rain slacked he was going to walk out and check on things better.

    Luckily our dog Molly is terrified of storms and knows when one is coming and she wouldn't let my mom take her and hook her up at her house, instead she stayed in the garage when mom and I left that morning so she was fine as well.
