Well, I'm off the scale as far as bad vision (it only goes to 20/400!) and my mom does insurance claims for an eye doctor's office.... does that help?
Probably not...

Well, I am nervous about some of the procedures. I guess I should lay it all out there, maybe someone can help me with some info.
My eyesight is doing weird stuff. I'll be bopping along fine and dandy, and the next thing I know, I can't see my dd at even 6-8 ft away. After a minute or so, all's well again. Sometimes I'll be feeding my ds and he gets fuzzy on me, so it isn't just at distances, it is close as well. And I am beginning to get accustomed to my right eye being blurry. It isn't just when my contacts are in, it is also when they are out. Seems like it is pretty much useless to wear them, as they don't so much clear anything up. I bump into stuff because I can't see periffereal (sp) sometimes. And it is just getting worse!
I have an appointment comming up this Thursday and I am nervous about what is going to happen. I will keep the appointment, I can't keep going like this it isn't good. But not only do I get all kinds of nervous around docs, but I am worried about what will come out of the appointment~~ Missy ~~

Hmmm. I'm sure there are a million possible explanations.
I don't know if this helps, but, at this time of year my vision is always blurry (I also wear contacts)-- for me, it's allergies. (Although I guess it's different in Colorado.) I can't read road signs or read books sometimes-- everything is fuzzy. No amount of prescription eye drops or whatever cures it-- I just have blurry vision for a few weeks this time of year.
A couple of years ago I had really blurry vision that wasn't during allergy season. I went in, and found out that my pressure was high. (To test they just looked at my eyes through this special machine-- nothing painful, they didn't even touch my eyes.) The doc had me leave my contacts out for several days, and it returned to normal.
I hope your problem is something simple and easy to "cure".
