    Default wish me luck

Hello everyone.  I haven't been posting much lately as I've been really busy finalising things for the quilt exhibition this weekend.  For those of you who don't know, my DIL and I are selling stitchery patterns that I created at the exhibition.

We've done all the stitching and sewing, yesterday  we spent the whole day putting stickers on bags, folding patterns and placing them in the bags.  We'll finish them off today and put them in little wooden fruit crates that DH made for us.  I also have to print out some flyers and a catalogue.  We have 29 different patterns and have 440 to sell.  We also have 50 pattern books. I have no idea how we'll go.  There are 5 other merchants selling things similar to ours, but all the other merchants are local stores.

So, wish us luck, we'll need it.  I'll be back on Monday and I'll let you know what happens.

Wishing you lots of sales. I wish you'd share more pics of your kits.

I am looking forward to hearing how it went.

I really liked the pics you showed me. They were very pretty and yet not intimidating.

Lots of luck. I'll be thinking about you and hoping you do well.

It's Friday aftenoon here and everything is ready to go. We set up our stall this morning. They have 100 quilts in the exhibition - all done by local ladies in the quilting group. There are 7 merchants; we are in a big room adjacent to the quilt hall. I'll take my camera with me tomorrow and take some photos to show you.

Sara, I never like putting my drawings on here because I don't want anyone to think I'm showing off - not that the drawings are masterpieces. They are just plain drawings for people like me who like simplicity. BUT!! I thought I might do a drawing for Frugal Villagers to stitch. I'll draw it next week and post it in the needle arts thread. Then anyone who wants to stitch it can download it.

Many thanks to everyone for the support and kind thoughts. It really is like a big family here and when I read your words I can hear my sister urging me to reach for the sky.
