    Default Yay! Free preschool!

    Last year Amanda got to go to 2 day a week preschool for free because I was working there the same 2 days. When I decided not to go back this year, I knew we couldn't afford for her to go. I didn't worry too much because I think she learns a lot at home.

    The director of the preschool encouraged me to apply for a scholarship for her. I did, but never heard anything. I figured we would just work on letters and such at home.

    The director called me yesterday to tell me Amanda was enrolled in Tues/Thurs preschool on a scholarship! Yay! to top it off, she is going to be in the class with my co-teachers from last year.

    This will give her time away from me, and 2 mornings a week to work on my house and volunteer in Katie's second grade class.

    What a great help, since our budget could not accommodate that expense.
