    Default Wannabe Homesteader in Canada

How did you hear about frugal village? Google > homesteadgarden > here

What interests you here? Husband and I hope to leave the big city (Toronto) for Nova Scotia in 3-5 yr. I'd like to be prepared.

Do you know any other members here? Maybe?

How many kids? Ages? 1 Boston Terrier that's 5 yr. old

Tell us about yourself. I'm mid-20's, work at home (web sites, web design, writing). Hope to become a homesteader and a mother.

Do you own any pets? 1 Boston Terrier

SAHM or Working mom? I would be a wahm, if we had kids. We've never tried to prevent it, but trying to maintain life here in the city has made for little chance of it (stress, no time, etc.) Long story! This is the main reason we want to move.

Married or single? Married 5 yr.

Interests and hobbies? Painting for starts.

Welcome to the village from another Canadian. I'm an urban homesteader, living my dream in a tiny town of 450 people. Look forward to getting to know you and hearing about your goals.

Howdy from another Canadian city-dweller. You might not have a big plot of land yet, but the homesteading and self-sufficiency attitude is still applicible to the city.
