I lost 3 lbs....

That's the good news, I guess. The bad news is I had to get sick to do it. I was fine all of last week, I took Paige to the Dr. Friday because she was acting very fussy and pulling on her ears Thursday at day care and for the first time in about 4 months she didn't want to sleep all night and cried constantly.

The Dr. checked her ears and said they looked fine and eventhough she didn't feel any teeth it didn't mean that she might be starting to teeth (when we gave her a cold teething ring Thursday night she finally calmed down and feel asleep while sucking on it.

Anway the Dr. said that there was a stomach virus going around and that's what most of the people were in there for. Well fast forward to 2 AM Monday morning and I (the normally cold one) wakes up burning up so I turned the air way down, the about 3:30 a was sick as a dog. It took all I had to get Paige to day care and work for 4 hours until someone else came in. I came home and went straight to bed and Joe went to get Paige. He felt fine all day. Well, about 7:30 when I woke up (feeling about 50% better, Joe was sick as a dog.)

The whole time I was so worried that Paige was going to get sick so I called the Dr.s office that morning while I was at work and they said that babies tend to do better then we do but if she got sick to give her Pedialite (sp). Joe was still feeling yucky this morning, and my head hurt, but once I took some excedrine and had a few sips of a coke I started feeling better.

I'm glad that was over with....that was the first time I've been sick like that in a long time.

So far Paige has been fine. Yesterday when we had to change her or feed her we did so with some latex gloves on and used my hand sanitizer. I felt bad not being able to hold her and play and cuddle her last night so I plan on making up for it tonight.....lol

Even though we both ate the same things Sunday night, Joe thinks I picked it up at the Dr.s office and gave it to him. The good news is I finally ate taround noon, and when I called to check on Joe about 3 he was starting to eat as well.

Anyone have any idea if we should go on and assume that Paige isn't going to get it, or might it take longer to get to her then it did us?

Congrats on the weight loss, but sorry to hear how you had to lose it.

Maybe she won't get it or maybe that is why she was cranky. Her tummy might have been hurting her and now she is better.

I am glad you and Joe are both feeling better.

Sorry to hear your all sick. The virus is going around CT also, my dh was home Monday with it. I would just keep an eye on the baby and make sure she gets plenty of fluids just in case. Dh was sick here but none of the rest of us caught it. I think we would have had it by now. Heck of a way to lose 3 lbs. but hey 3lbs. is 3lbs. Congrats!
