Julia,

I just wanted to say, your jokes brighten my day

Sometimes, if there is not a lot going on, OR indeed in the UK at the moment there is too much vileness going on, life can get a bit

So when I look on FV and see your jokes, they make me smile

I don't know where they all come from but I am sure I am not the only one on the FV that appreciates you taking the time to Post them

Even dh knows who you are now!, I will say "oh, Julia posted a good joke today" & then I repeat it to him.

I was just going to come here this morning and post basically the same thing!

I've been printing off lots of her jokes/cartoons and sending them to my son and his "rack mate" in Marine Boot camp. They look forward to getting letters everyday, but it's hard for me to find things to write about all the time. The jokes are appreciated by the guys and they pass them around to all 80 of the platoon members.

Oh I am so happy that you all enjoy the jokes, I get them from other groups that I am on, I save the best ones and post them here!

It has really brightened my day now to get these posts from you all, thank you!

By the way Karen, whereabouts in Yorkshire do you live? My dh is from Sheffield and we lived there for 8 years after getting married until moving to Oz!

I am about 30 mins Drive from Sheffield, it is just down the Motorway from us! small World eh? that means you would understand my thick Yorkshire accent then!

Hi Julia,

I guess several of us were thinking of thanking you today for your wonderful sense of humor and for sharing it every day!! So I'm jumping in to add my thanks, too.

BTW, I'm from Arizona, so not much accent LOL. To EnglishLady: I did read the Secret Garden this summer and you probably know it's setting is Yorkshire. The author gives an idea of what a broad yorkshire accent is like. I would love to hear it!!
