I remember the night he made the announcement on the news. It is very sad. I didn't find out about it until this morning on my way to work. I know his family and his ABC family are deeply saddened by his passing.

Oh how terrible-I really liked him and respected him as a journalist. The world has lost a great person.

Peter Jennings was my favorite journalist. I admit to having a crush on him, when he first started achoring World News Tonight. I thought he was sooo cute and sophsticated, intelligent, urbane, etc...
I'm praying for his family.

He was a great Canadian, and will be sadly missed. (he was one of our exports to you in the States). Canada was proud of him and the mark he made.

I am so devastated by this. I've been a news junkie since i was a child. I loved his voice. I started to cry as soon as i heard the news on tv.
