Great news!!!
After 10 months of unemployment -
DH HAS A JOB!!
The offer is being sent out overnight, he should have it tomorrow to sign and send back. Its in his field (computers) and for almost as much as his last position (57K). He was afraid that he'd wind up taking a huge paycut.
So now I don't need to feel the least bit guilty about leaving my job for a better one, and not worrying about how much I make (but instead about how happy my job makes me)!
Also, we've worked out some pretty detailed future plans in the past - all dependent on when he got a job - so now we can finally put some of those plans into play! (House, baby, get rid of all debt, not necessarily in that order)
Woo-hoo!!!
Thanks to everyone who sent prayers when I posted for requests after his interviews - I didn't ask for any for this one, because I honestly didn't think he had much of a shot - but - wow! Miracles happen when you least expect them!Loving wife to DH (8/31/03) and Mommy to Owen Alexander (9/20/06)

Yeah! Sometimes, it's worth the wait. I once had 9 job interviews, and it was the 9th place that offered me the job. It is also the place that had the highest starting pay. So, I guess its a good thing the other places didn't offer me the job. Congratulations! I know what a great feeling it must be to know that you'll have more money coming in.

Sara, that is great news!!! I'm so happy to hear this- you must be breathing a sigh of relief. And now you know you can live on less, so you can knock out that debt, save up some money, buy a house, and have that baby!!!! (In whatever order you like, of course.)
