My Good News!

I'm really excited because I've been praying for "more money"! Well, I got my wish. Seems the Lord wants me to work for it, lol.

I got a job! It's part-time with an Attorney. Job title will be Assistant to the Secretary. I will start on or about the 23rd of this month.

I wasn't really looking but saw the add in the paper on Saturday last week, called and left a message and they called me for an interview on Tuesday and another on Wednesday. They hadn't finished interviewing on Wednesday and told me I had the job.

Some of you already know I've been volunteering to work at a local food bank on Friday mornings for a little over a month now. I will have to give it up after next week unless I can work something out with the new employer but the Director of the Food Bank said not to worry as someone who used to operate a food bank has just moved here and wants to get involved. The Director is 74 years old and just can't do it alone. I just feel fortunate that I could pay back a little of the help they gave us when we needed it.

I'll let you know for sure when I go to work. Never worked for a lawyer before and this is a wild office so it should be fun. He does Civil cases but specializes in Criminal cases and practices in Nevada and California.

I'm really praying my health holds up to be able to do the job but I figure if the Lord gave me the job, he'll also give me the strength to do it.
