Well, I was going to say no way, I saw a much worse job on the NGC- Tanner. But it is included in the Victorian jobs. about 6 weeks ago I watched a show about the worst jobs- their was this poor kid (16, I think) in Morocco who works in the hundreds-of-years-old tannery in Fez that his father works in. He has to stand in huge vats filled with pigeon droppings (one of his jobs is to collect the droppings) and wade around in it for hours trying to soften the leather. Here is a picture- those big white holes are the vats, and the workers walk around all day on the edges with no shoes, then hop in when they need to.

These pictures don't even begin to show you how truly awful it really is. Tourists often get sick when the visit it, and before they ven start, the tourguides go to a herb seller and buy mint for them to hold under their noses.
The poor kid was so gorgeous- I just kept thinkin, boy, if he could just get to the US, he could be a model for Ralph Lauren....He hated his job, but didn't feel he had any other options.
Anyway, now that I've blabbered on and on, thanks for the interesting link. Kinda' puts things in perspective, doesn't it?
